Once again, Makoto Shinkai is ready to bowl us over with his brilliant movies. This time, the spotlight will be snatched by his upcoming film, Suzume no Tojimari.
Suzume no Tojimari will hit the silver screens on November 11, 2022. Shinkai’s CoMix Wave Films studio is once again helming the animation production.
The first-ever teaser of the movie has just been revealed, and I promise the animation will blow your mind.
The captivating music that perfectly matched the video’s vibe surprised me more than the flawless animation.
The video gives us glimpses of film. The scenes where Suzume meets an unknown boy, and opens a mysterious door are especially noticeable.
Shinkai had previously stated that the film’s main point is ‘closing doors’ and that it is a road movie around Japan.
