The February issue of Kodansha’s Good Afternoon magazine announced that the Grand Blue Dreaming manga will be going on a hiatus for some time.
Kenji Inoue has been suffering from severe back pain due to overworking which is the cause behind the break.
A tweet was posted on the Twitter account of Grand Blue showing naked Iori, Kohei, Tokita, and Kotobuki bowing.
Managakas suffer from a lot of ailments due to the rigid work schedule. Even famous manga go on a break sometimes due to the authors’ healths.
People might think that being a mangaka might be an easy job, but the work eventually takes a toll on their health.
Since they work behind the scenes, their health condition goes unnoticed. We hope that Inoue sensei gets better soon.
